Regional Offline Europe
The Regional Offline Europe department reports to Regional Office and handles 29 markets in Europe, where SIA does not fly to. In the key markets, SIA is represented by General Sales Agents (GSA).
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and oversee all communication activities within the Regional Offline Europe region. This includes overseeing all e-commerce, marketing and PR activities using both B2B and B2C channels. Regular contact with the respective General Sales Agents in each market ensures local activities follow the Singapore Airlines brand guidelines.
Individual accountabilities:
- Initiating and owning the E-Commerce and marketing activities calendar;
- Coordination of campaigns, including budget management;
- Maintaining SEO/SEM activities as well as promotional fare deals on the website;
- Updating local content pages on the website;
- Initiation and creation of eDM’s – both B2B and B2C;
- Production and design of promotional advertising material;
- Responsible for media relations – tasks related to PR, media handling and influencers;
- Distributing press releases to GSA’s and members of the press;
- Assisting with coordinating media trips and other events related to agents, media, PR and influencers;
- Maintaining and updating the local media distribution lists;
- Developing and maintaining a good network of influencers, journalists, third parties (NTO’s);
- Handling compliments and complaints.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- A good command of English;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and oral;
- Familiar with E-Commerce channels, tools and definitions;
- Basic knowledge of HTML and Adobe Creative Cloud software is an advantage;
- Ability to make informed decisions;
- Reliability and integrity;
- Not timid in dealing with media;
- High sense of initiative, eye for detail and creativity;
- Affinity towards the airline and travel industry;
- Command of Microsoft Office applications;
- Able to work in a team and under tight timelines.
