A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Station Manager to manage the operations of EL AL Israel Airlines at Schiphol Airport.
Key responsibilities of the role include monitoring and ensuring the standard of services of the handling agent, ensuring all operational activities are completed accurately and on a timely manner, reporting on various quality and operational aspects such as customer services, baggage handling and punctuality.
This role requires flexible approach to working hours, thirst for challenge and excellent managerial skills.
Main duties:
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting the ground handling and airport services quality provided to ELAL;
- Supporting the process of the quality standards and service levels required by ELAL in ground handling and airport services;
- Managing and assuring consistent internal target agreements & external service level agreements with our handling suppliers;
- Preparing and distributing regular reports;
- Identifying areas for potential quality improvement;
- Tracking corrective measures and reporting their effectiveness;
- Occasionally carrying out quality inspections;
- Guarding and maintaining Safety standards as set by the Company;
- Maintaining CMF according to Company Procedures and Local Regulations;
- Liaising with Authorities & Airport Authorities on behalf of the Company;
- Preparing a yearly work plan to measure achievement of targets;
- Customer service: ensuring the highest standard of passenger service level is kept at all times, resolving complex issues promptly and professionally, handling incapacitated and reduced mobility passengers with exceptional sensitivity;
- Operations and Communications: ensuring full cooperation with Operational Control Centre, verifying and countersigning all load sheets before presenting to the Captain, supplying handling agent with all necessary instructions/ information to guarantee proper handling of ELAL flights according company procedures;
- Ramp Activities: ensuring full acquaintance with loading procedures for all aircraft including cargo (aircraft weight and balance licence an advantage), ensuring sufficient staff availability and performance standards of interior aircraft cleaners.
