POSITION: JUNIOR SALES ADMIN EXECUTIVE (40hours/week)

Location: Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands

REGIONAL OFFLINE EUROPE

The Regional Offline Europe department reports to Regional Office and handles 29 markets in Europe, where SIA does not fly to. In the key markets, SIA is represented by General Sales Agents (GSA).

JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and oversee fare distribution matters for all regional offline europe point of sales. Regular contact with the respective General Sales Agents in each market ensures optimal pricing strategies and revenue management. This role also involves sales planning, which includes monitoring forward loads and advising activities based on these insights to drive sales and meet business objectives. Additionally, the role encompasses general administrative duties to ensure smooth operations within the offline region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinate fare inputs for the offline markets in consultation with Head Office departments;
2. Conduct Fare and Availability checks in all sales distribution channels;
3. Evaluate the competitiveness of fares;
4. Initiate and evaluate promotional fare campaigns;
5. Coordinate relevant selective fare distribution;
6. Assist with fare and ticketing related issues;
7. Reviewing partnership opportunities with partner airlines within Europe;
8. Coordinate and provide administrative assistance for commercial agreements;
9. Assist with staff travel requests;
10. Monitor and reports revenue performance;
11. Handle Customer Relations cases.

RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Relevant work or study experience preferably in the airline or tourism industry;
• Ticketing and Reservation experience is an asset;
• Proficient in MS Office applications;
• Familiarity with Amadeus Central Reservation System is preferable;
• Proficient in English;
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

This full-time position is based at the SIA airport office at Schiphol.
