The Role:

Reporting to the Team Lead of Technical, the Technical Manager will participate in the technical asset management of TrueNoord’s worldwide fleet of regional aircraft. The Technical Manager will monitor and manage all technical aspects of our aircraft through the lease cycle and ensure all technical lease agreement requirements.

Schiphol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely reporting by customers of utilization data and performed maintenance events;
• Working with and entering the reported data into the lease management system, and extracting data to generate management reports;
• Managing external consultants for the generation of maintenance forecasts;
• Providing aircraft specification sheets and aircraft maintenance status summaries;
• Generating accurate maintenance and cash flow forecasts for existing and new leases, considering multiple scenarios;
• Organizing technical audits and ensuring that TrueNoord remains up-to-date on all relevant technical documentation of each aircraft;
• Processing Maintenance Reserve claims;
• Supporting and coordinating other ad hoc projects as needed.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the technical field of aviation with an airline, maintenance facility, aviation leasing company or CAMO.
• High level of IT competency, including a solid understanding of databases and proficiency in Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
• Preferably knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and technical records.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Engineering (e.g. HvA).

Language:

• Fluency in English, excellent writing, verbal and listening skills.
