Introduction
China Airlines (CI) is the largest airline of Taiwan, also known as Republic of China. Our head quarter is located in Taipei, Taoyuan International Airport. CI operates flights to more than 175 destinations in more than 29 countries across Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania.

Our branch is located in Amsterdam. From this office we supervise and coordinate the daily sales and marketing operation in our 6 online stations in Europe and we are commercially responsible for the sales activities in the Benelux & Nordic region. In addition, we manage the sales activities in a number of off-line stations.

For our Airport office at Amsterdam Schiphol we are looking for a new colleague in the position Airport Traffic Agent for our operations team.

Job responsibilities:

• Handle reservations and ticketing;
• Manage the check-in process;
• Coordinate with gate personnel and manage and initiate the boarding process;
• Handle customer inquiries: seat availability, baggage etc.;
• Various administrative tasks: preparation and completion of pre- and post- flight documentation and statistical information;
• Service recovery.

Job requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch and English both written and oral. Mandarin is a plus;
• Experience in customer service at airport is desired and IT skills are useful;
• Stress resistant, accurate and communicative;
• Able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
• Working on weekends, public holidays and in shifts is required (including irregular and/or extended hours);
• Knowledge of Amadeus Altea reservation and Altea Departure control CM system, MS Office (Word, Excel);
• Motivated and a positive attitude towards teamwork;
• Attending China Airlines training courses abroad;
• Living in the Amsterdam area is an advantage.
