We are looking for someone to become part of our dedicated expert team in our office in Amsterdam as:

Asset Manager (m/f/d)

As Asset Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for managing all aspects of our engines portfolio whether on or off lease. Furthermore you support, when required, all commercial activities in conjunction with the Asset Management and the Leasing Team.

Your Tasks:

  • Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with business partners, within an international B2B environment both face-to-face and remote
  • Day-to-day Business for Asset Management incl. working closely with the relevant MLS as well as MTU network regarding commercial, technical and legal matters to meet our customers’ needs
  • Support as to the best possible scenario in order to preserve the Residual Value of every Asset under management
  • Ensure new additions to the engines portfolio are correctly brought into the fleet in line with fleet management processes and related check-lists
  • Shop Visit Management including support of table inspections participation etc.as well as including material supply & cost and time management
  • Ensure asset compliance with business case provisions during term of ownership. Coordinate with MLS team and external parties on reporting requirements
  • Review and approve invoices to ensure compliance with asset provisions and existing contracts
  • Support the day to day management of owned assets and piece parts

Your Experience and Qualifications:

  • Completed degree preferred in the field of aviation engineering
  • Relevant working experience in Engine Field, especially on CFM56-family, ideally in an international environment
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating the technical provisions of engine lease or purchase agreements
  • English fluently written and spoken, additional language skills are a plus
  • Good IT skills (in particular MS Office), SAP is a plus
  • Self-responsibility, high level of commitment, flexibility and ability to cope with pressure
  • Eloquent communication skills, diplomatic skills when dealing with customers

Process and Quality Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for Quality Management System of MTU Maintenance Lease Services B.V. (MLS)
  • Supervision and execution of internal and external audits
  • Approval and control of suppliers as well as processing customer complaints and evaluating customer satisfaction
  • Identification and evaluation of potential process improvements
  • Ensuring the sustainable implementation of improvements in collaboration with respective departments
  • Autonomous preparation, implementation and follow-up of workshops as a moderator
  • Maintenance of technical data of engines and/or life limited parts as well as operational data in the relevant systems and tools
  • Project management of small and medium-sized projects
  • Participation in MTU group-wide sustainability reports

Your Experience and Qualifications:

  • Completed degree with technical or commercial business orientation
  • Relevant working experience in quality management as well as profound understanding of processes
  • Interdisciplinary expertise regarding aviation business preferred
  • Experience with the quality standards ISO9001 and ASA-100 is a plus
  • Very good and assured knowledge of the English language, German language is a plus
  • Good IT skills, in particular MS Office, EFPAC is a plus
  • Very good moderation, analytical and organizational skills
  • Eloquent communication skills and diplomatic skills
  • Assertiveness as well as team spirit and intercultural approach in thought and deed

Intern Finance (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Support the Finance team with accounting operations e.g. Inventory Accounting, Billing, A/R, A/P
  • Actively drive improvements regarding digitalization, e.g. data consolidation, implementation of new tools
  • Support the CFO in ad-hoc tasks, interacting with management and MTU experts
  • Prepare internal monthly reporting to senior management and shareholders
  • Assist in defining efficient processes and developing new best practices
  • Take responsibility for individual tasks and projects within the Finance Department

Your Experience and Qualifications:

  • University education with excellent grades; business, Finance or IT education is a plus
  • Proven affinity to Finance and Accounting, e.g. through former internships
  • Excellent Excel skills, experience with macros or database software would be a great asset
  • Fluent English with good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and business affinity
  • Reliable and dedicated team player with pro-active attitude, hands-on mentality working in an international team

Your Tasks:

  • Support the Asset Management Team in buying, selling and trading of aircraft engines and engine parts globally
  • Assist in analyzing market developments by considering technical, logistical and economic aspects
  • Prepare contracts, documentation and reports in various levels of the Supply-Chain-Management
  • Elaborate economic calculations in regards to various sales and cost premises e.g. in MS Excel
  • Assist in obtaining offers and selecting suppliers of services, as well as tracking delivery and costs
  • Engage in logistical handling of engines and inventory on a global scale, including bookings in ERP Systems
  • Support in identifying, securing and expanding the customer and product base
  • Coordinate joint projects with Accounting, Legal and Sales Departments

Your Experience and Qualifications:

  • Study in Business Administration, Engineering or similar
  • Work experience in Purchasing, Sales or Logistical Administration through former internships preferred
  • English fluently written and spoken, Dutch or German is a plus
  • Excellent MS Excel/Word and PowerPoint user
  • Good negotiation skills and hands-on mentality
  • Fulltime, duration: preferably 6 months, preferred starting date: November 01 or 15, 2021
  • Active student status for the whole duration (university/higher education Institution)
  • EU citizenship or an EU work permit
