What are the opportunities
As Coordinating Sheetmetal Worker, you are responsible for coordinating sheetmetal work in the workshop or on a project, managing (All-round) Sheetmetal Workers and temporary staff during the duration of the work.
You also participate in the execution of inspection, repair, overhaul and modification in the field of sheetmetal work on, and/or complicated sheetmetal assemblies of aircraft, within the set standards, hours, resources, materials and methods. You are responsible for the quality of all sheetmetal work on aircraft or aircraft components and are able to functionally manage (All-round) Sheetmetal Workers and temporary staff with regard to repairs to sheetmetal
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate can coordinate work with the other departments in the interest of an undisturbed progress of work, is proactive, a problem solver willing and able to support less experienced workers and has an eye for good working conditions and safety.
You are able to participate proactively in work meetings and think along about the approach and execution of work.
Furthermore, you are responsible for introduction to the work of less experienced workers and temporary staff and supervising them. You actively participate in the care for good working conditions with regard to your safety and that of your colleagues. You use an effective and efficient method in solving problems and complaints.
You have an MBO level related to metalworking and a Structural repair Manual training, Fuel Tank Safety, Ewis. At least three to five years knowledge of and experience with sheet metal
It is important that you have an adequate level of reading and understanding technical English for reading manuals, drawings and instructions. Craftsmanship is required for performing sheet metal work on aircraft components or aircraft and helicopters, using various types of hand tools or hand machines. Craftsmanship is also required for the creation of new building parts with the aid of drawings, molds etc. You have a VOP Training or completed training in accordance with current EASA legislation. You are authorized for the execution and release of all common sheet repairs.
